Starting in karts at the age of 9, Daniel quickly progressed through the Karting Leagues resulting in many Formula TKM Championship wins and Titles. Recieving the opportunity to test the cars at the age of 15 Team JFK quickly bought their first car endlessley testing until he was able to race at the age of 16. Since then Daniel has gone on to maintain, set-up and run the car successfully over a decade.

With a love for engineering Daniel studied Motorsport Operations and the University of Central Lancashire, and has worked for teams within the Ginetta Championship, Porsche Carrera Cup and VW Fun Cup.

Daniel was sponsored throughout the majority of his racing career but ultimately stepped back from racing the Jedi when the success of the team became more important. He still manages to 'keep his hand in' being a certified ARDS Racing instructor. This along with the extensive technical knowledge of the car has helped the team drivers and cars maintain a very competitive stance in the championship.

Having grown up in a motorsport mad family, Dan started competing in 1994 in a gearbox kart built by his father, Bob. Racing on short circuits for a few years before moving up to Superkarts and then eventually to the top tier of Superkarts, Division 1. The competition took him to events at some of the best European circuits, including Hockenheim, Assen, Magny Cours, Silverstone and the Nurburgring.

After a short break from competing and attempting to replace the buzz of racing with a few trackdays, Dan simply had to return to competition. In 2010 Dan bought a Jedi and started to compete in the Formula Jedi championship. In the self-prepared car, Dan took several wins at Monoposto events, but the elusive first Jedi championship podium didn’t come until 2012 with a win finally coming at Donington Park in 2013.

After a strong 2014 earning a number of podiums and three wins, Dan decided to join Team JFK to try and make the final push towards a championship….and to have more fun!
